"Deeper" - Youth in years 7-12.

  • WHEN: Friday nights 6:00-7:00pm (in school terms) in the youth shed out back.
  • WHO: This is for young people to sit around and be lead through a discussion about God, the Bible, how to have a relationship with God, and also for us to pray together.

There are no games/activities at this program, but is for people who want to really learn more and grow deeper in their relationship with God.

Ignite Youth

"Ignite Youth" - years 7-10 at school.

  • WHEN: Friday Nights 7:30-9:30pm (in school terms) in the Function Room here at Bendigo Baptist Church.
  • WHAT: Each week the theme and activities are different, but the nights follow the general same pattern each week.

A usual night involves a welcome/announcements/startup segment from the leaders, followed by fun games/activities all together, then a God talk by one of the leaders, followed up with getting into smaller ‘care groups’ (yr.7&8 boys, yr. 9&10 boys, yr.7&8 girls, yr.9&10 girls) for further discussion on the topic for the night.

7th Victoria Bendigo Company

In 1893 Miss Margaret Lytle was moved to empower the hearts and minds of like-minded women in Dublin, Ireland, with the aim of ‘the extension of Christ’s Kingdom among girls.” Her vision was to work amongst local girls in her local community, sharing her faith and offering young women and girls in the Victorian era the gospel promise of Jesus Christ bringing ‘life to the full’.
The flame that was kindled in the hearts and lives of those women has continued to burn for over 100 years across the world as GB leaders have worked together, intent on being God’s missionary presence to the communities that surround them, in partnership with local churches.
Here in Bendigo, 7th Vic GB has been working in partnership with Bendigo Baptist Church for more than 35 years to see girls' lives transformed and God's world enriched as we share with girls through an aged based program that builds in life and leadership skills in a fun and safe way.
