Vision and Purpose
The purpose of the Worship ministry team is to lead (or help to
facilitate) the congregation in meaningful worship that is pleasing and
acceptable to God; bringing joy to His name. This is to be achieved by
developing a team of competent vocalists, musicians, technicians and
associates who strive for excellence and who continually seek to reflect
Christ in their lives.
Our spiritual preparedness has a direct effect on our ministry. We must have a heart/attitude ready for leading the congregation in corporate worship. Our role is more than just playing notes, singing words, or participating in multi-media. Our focus should be on serving, not performing.
